Quasim II : King Inferno (Season Four: Inferno Gods Book 2)
🚨 WHEW… THE KANG HAD ME STRESSED! 🚨
I need y’all to sit down because… WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST READ?! 😩😂
Blair survived the fire. Elijah broke my heart. Quasim FINALLY broke down. Anjo is pregnant. Red and his raggedy-ass crew made some stupid decisions. Dookie Butt continued to piss me off. Forty is giving me a VERY strange feeling. And Sim + Meer?!
NO. MA’AM. PICK ONE. NOT BOTH! 😭😭😭
This book had me laughing, yelling, cussing, damn near crying, and occasionally staring at the screen like…
“Jaquel… girl. WHY?!” 🤦🏾♀️😂
But underneath all the chaos, this story had some seriously heavy moments. Grief. Trauma. Children being failed by the people who should protect them. The lengths people will go to for power. And the question of whether love can survive when protecting someone starts costing you everything.
Then, because apparently we weren't emotionally exhausted enough, Jaquel decided to sprinkle in romance, drama, old favorites, new problems, messy relationships, and enough foolishness to keep me turning pages. 🥴🔥
And THAT beach scene?
Chile… LET ME GET MYSELF TOGETHER. 😮💨🤣
So yeah… I have THOUGHTS.
A LOT of them.
And before I say too much and have somebody throwing their phone across the room because of spoilers, let's get into it.
Was Blair really going to make it? Will Elijah ever be okay? What is Forty hiding? What's happening with Syn & Havoc? And what in the ENTIRE HELL is going on with Sim and Meer?
Grab your drink. Grab your snacks. Get comfortable.
Because we're about to talk about EVERYTHING. 👀🔥
Ready to find out what happened to the Kang?
Let's goooo! 🐐📖
Quasim - King Inferno by Jaqhuel J.
🚨 Unpopular opinion incoming...
Tookie is a bitch.
There. I said it.
Now that we've gotten that out of the way... can we talk about how this book had me laughing one minute, side-eyeing everybody the next, and then questioning every single character's motives before I even reached the last page?
Because WHAT was that ending?! 🤯
The more I read, the more I realized this story isn't just about violence, loyalty, and family. It's about how trauma creates people who love hard, protect harder, and destroy anything that threatens the people they call their own.
And don't even get me started on who I think set that house on fire... because I have theories. Plenty of them.
Am I reaching... or did you catch the same clues I did? 👀🔥
