Much like the love we saw in Capone and Cappadonna they have a beautiful love story. Speaking of, I just knew they were going to smash in that college flashback lol. Am I alone lol?
I want to talk about the love between Capri and Peachš¤. I donāt think people talk about the love that grows between a woman and the child of the man that she truly loves. I canāt speak on it from a woman and boy standpoint, but I can speak on a woman and girl relationship. When a woman grows to love that little girl and the love is shared between the 2 of them oh my God it is truly beautiful. To have an attachment with a significant otherās child that you didnāt birth, and it was chosen not āforcedā upon you is a different feeling. Even though I know the feeling oh so well, I can not find the words to explain it. I fall short every time I try. I love how Capri and Peach immediately loved each other. It wasnāt forced and it feels authentic. I think Quameer balances the 2 of them very well. The conversation they had at Peachās birthday dinner when Capri pulled her outside to give her her gift had my eyes watering up. I liked that they were able to have that moment together since Brandi had fucked up the one Capri imagined.
Being the girl who wasnāt liked by either of her stepmothersš„“. And before anyone asks or says something stupidā¦I was a child when I met both. I was also my fatherās first child and daughter so we had a close relationship. Both of his wives after my mother hated that relationshipš¤·š¾āāļø. Wasnāt my fault because I wasnāt a rude or disrespectful child especially not when it came to my father š. Then becoming an adult and being blessed with the opportunity to have a bonus daughter, I am able to show her unconditional love from a woman that didnāt birth. Being in a similar situation, I can truly appreciate Capri and Peachās relationship.
āØWhat do you think about the relationship?
Capella, Aimee, and Rory ā¦smh. Ian gone lie I donāt like women like Aimee. She is one of those woe is me females. Yes life has been hard for them but then a silver lining comes and they donāt truly appreciate it. The Delgatos have already accepted her into the family, protects her undoubtedly, accepted Alaiaās daughter, and accepted that Capone and Erinās daughter has health challenges. This girl is trying to hide the Rory is autistic like no one else notices that he is. I can understand having post partum and feeling like youāre alone in a crowd of people but seek help you have all of the resources that you need. Itās like she wants to be helpless and itās making me not like her. Then her stupid ass aborted a baby because she lost herself in raising Rory. My issue isnāt that she aborted it my issue is that she didnāt talk to Capella or even Cappadonna or any of the women about it. Her body her choice, shit I guess š¶š¾āāļø.
Girl, give the people a chance. Iām off that before she piss me off.
So thereās questions at the end of this one as well. I wonāt be answering all of them but Iāll answer some of them. So here we goā¦imma number them based on the number question that it is in the book ā¦
1. Do you think Capella was wrong to say what he said to Aimee before leaving the house? Do you think he will cheat on Aimee because of his frustrations with her?
No I donāt think he was wrong. Heās young, his reaction is exactly what young men do when their feelings get hurt the slightest bit. I think heās definitely going to go fuck something if she continues with her actions š¤·š¾āāļø.
2. How do you think Cappadonna and Capella will react when they find out what happened with Aimee and Rory?
They are going to do exactly what they do, FUCK SHIT UP. Khalil might be dead but the people that was after him arenāt. They gone get em.
3. Quasim is usually quiet, and avoids Blair. Do you see him opening up to her, and letting her in? Do you think he would care that sex is hard for her now?
Yes, Quasim is definitely opening up and allowing her in. I donāt think heāll care at all about her struggles with sex because of his own struggles. He seems to be very understanding when it comes to her. But I do think those issues will subside if the time comes for them to take their friendship to that next level.
5. What do you think happened at that dinner with Jesse?
I think they fucked some shit up and will have to pivot on the plan. They got there and got into it. Jesse started Jesse-ing her husband came to help and they killed them.
7. Do you think Aimee should have just told Capella or Cappadonna instead of trying to handle things on her own with Khalil?
She definitely should have told them before stealing Capellaās money and giving it to another nigga. Like what the fuck girl?! I could see if she was able to match the money she took then she could have an argument but nooo she canāt. So that was fucked up and she definitely shouldāve told them.
9. Do you think Morgan will try to cross those lines with Capri?
Hell yeah and Quameer is gone fuck him up too. I think itās go going to happen on the trip. And why do I have a feeling that heās also going to find out who she is š¬.
10. What are you[r] thoughts on Peachās reaction to Capriās pregnancy?
I think it was an honest reaction. I really expected nothing lessā¦maybe for her to question it a bit longer. But I really expected her to be a little taken aback and scared that the new baby would take them from her. When you are used to a certain way of life and something happens that can completely change that aspect of your life you get scared. Adults fear change so a child fearing it is inevitable.
All in all even though there arenāt as many sex scenes or full descriptions of their sex scenes as I would expect or likeā¦ but the book is still a must read because of the storyline.
