“The Bride of a St. Rowe Millionaire”

The entire time I read this book I was thinking these are children being moved around like chess pieces. I don’t know why but I did it. First thing first, as we all know, Maddox is a p.o.s. not just because of how he treated his child but also how he moved through life.  I mean it is said that people of that caliber are emotionally and morally flawed so it’s not really shocking. However, it’s still annoying. Willow seems like she’s going to turn out to be crazy and for some reason I feel like she’s either going to harm Izzy or she’s the one that killed Jasmine. I’m willing to be wrong but I don’t think I am. She’s a bit questionable. Richie keeping a secret for so long and then lying to Ishani about how her mother, Jasmine, died is commendable and crazy af at the same time. I understand his why but at the same time I don’t like how he let it go on for such a long time. Knowing how the members of SRC are, specifically Maddox, he should’ve known at some point they were going to come to fill Jasmine’s seat. He didn’t think his lie all the way through, but let’s be honest most men don’t and that’s why they suck at lying.

Ok enough with the adults and on to the children. Monaleigh Monaleigh Monaleigh, what the hell made her think that giving Brim a pass would be helpful in growth and would come with no consequences. Drew being in the store running her mouth was the consequence, unfortunately. I can’t even fault Brimington for his actions because if I consider the fact that she gave him a pass was he really wrong for using it? The woman in me says “hell yeah, he’s wrong morally. He should’ve just tucked it away and kept rolling”. But the human in me says “well she gave him the green light so take off my boy”. I saw there’s a sequel so I kind of hope they are able to get it right and he straightens up. In a way I want her to get her lick back but considering this man is a crash out about her I don’t even want to read about the end game of him finding out she got her lick back. Whew child lol. The way he talks to her through sex with requests and instructions is such an interesting read. I love that for her, I like a good talking session and he does just the right amount. I do however wonder, what does she feeds him for his semen to taste like maple syrup 😬. Lmao I’m just saying. I’m not the only one, right? Judge yourself not me. I don’t care I don’t care 🤣. Let me know in the comments if I’m alone.

I hope in the second book Ishani and Rippa actually succeed in sex before she consummates her marriage. I want Rippa to knock her socks off before Kysen does. You don’t? They have loved each other since they met and Izzy didn’t act on it. So I feel like they should go ahead and get it out of their system rather than secretly lusting on it. Clearly, they are going to have to be around each other, and at some point it’s going to be weird or they’re eventually going to act on it. I also think that since more than likely Izzy and Kysen will be married for quite some time, Kysen has had the opportunity to have sex with whoever he wanted, and Izzy has not gone through her heaux faze and may never get to, she should take the chance to have sex with Rippa while she has it. You agree or naw? She shouldn’t be tied down before being able to experience at least one other penis and sexual experience. She needs something to compare the sex life she’ll have with Kysen to. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me or is it? 

I like how the author, Kellz Kimberly, started the book with the 2 females getting their high school diplomas and educational accolades before going into the illegal business. She was like hold on before I tell ya’ll about my possible little criminals and their new life let me let you know they’re not dummies. Okay my girl we see you lmao.
